Gallery - Jazz Night at Sunflower Music Festival
Last night we helped celebrate jazz music at the Sunflower Music Festival held at White Concert Hall. For nearly 4 decades, this multi-day festival has brought world renowned musicians to Washburn University free of charge for music lovers to enjoy.
Jazz night featured Songs in the Key of KC - a musical trip through the legacy and landscape of Kansas City jazz history. The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra provided an evening of sounds that celebrated artists like Count Basie, Bobby Watson, and Bennie Moten.
